Sharks & Ray Tagging

Involving continued data collection on sharks, skate and rays found in Irish waters.

Our ultimate objective is sustainable protection and conservation of Irish elasmobranch species. This will be bolstered by expanding the tagging scheme in Northern Ireland, and a limited supply of tagging kits will be available to responsible anglers wishing to take part in this important on-going survey.
